Ad Block Plus
Tired of Popups and the slowdowns that occur with popups? Ad Block is a great solution for ridding them from your browser. I've been using it for about 3 months and the number of popups I get now are next to none.
It works for Internet Explorer as well as Chrome and Firefox and best of all it's free. It also has a very nice feature where you can turn off the blocker for only the particular page you're on without affecting any other page.
To read more about it or to download it go [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]

Re: Ad Block Plus
...but does it work on Slide-bys? Those buggers hog the whole page, and there is no way one cannot click on them to remove 'em!
I've been told many a time clicking to remove is a No-No because that will trigger a virus download?! So how are they removed?
TIA

Re: Ad Block Plus
To be honest I haven't had to deal so much with the side sliders. They're starting to pop up more and more, so I'm sure there has to be a way to block them. The main thing I love about ad block plus is the ability to block ads on You Tube.Wyz wrote:...but does it work on Slide-bys? Let me look around and see if I can find a solution for the sliders.
