There Are Plenty Of Art Apps . . .

. . .that one can use on the different Kindle Fire ( Fire) Tablets ; I've discovered however, that different devices don't all use the same Photography Editor/Drawing/Sketching app!

There are 3 Kindle Fires in my family - 1st Gen 8GB, 3 Gen 8GB HD (2013) and  16GB HDX (2013) all of them are 7"; I was looking the other day to see whether I could download Bamboo Paper App to the HD because I have it on the HDX and discovered to my surprise it wasn't offered.

Bamboo Paper is put out by Wacom , and it's free; there is a small in-app purchase feature but only if you're not satisfied with just what they offer.  I did get two more feature tools and Notebook ( Artist) to play around in.

I enjoy creating art with the HDX and I didn't create this piece  "Take Time" with Wacom but with Photo Studio Pro , PicsArt and exported it to my laptop , Win7 , to be finished using font ( text) abilities.  I can use the fonts that are on my laptop instead of paying for the extra ones that PicMonkey offers.  Laughing
