Simple Rules For Adding Software Suggestions Here
Simple Rules
We encourage everyone to participate here but there have to be some ground rules.
1) Only Post Links--If you have a great software to recommend, please post a text link to the software only. Later, I may entertain the idea of setting up a downloads area but this takes a tremendous amount of bandwidth and will slow the forums down.
2) No Warez-- Please do not post anything illegal such as cracks or links to any warez sites. I can't stress how important this rule is. Warez sites could lead to this site being shutdown or subject you to viruses and phishing scams.
3) BE Prepared---Always make sure you are running a good anti-virus and firewall. Always assume the best but prepare for the worst. I also recommend a good adware scanner too.
4) Be Smart--- Scan all files you download with your anti-virus BEFORE you run them.
Following those simple guidelines will prevent endless nightmares trying to recover your system from viruses, rootkits, and adware. It's much easier to prepare than it is to restore your system.
Finally, we can't police postings 100% of the time. We will try to remove any postings we feel are harmful or illegal but the bottom line is we can't be responsible for the links posted here. If you have a problem, we will try and help you recover from it but don't blame us for it
